英文 | And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. |

中文 | 耶稣一下船,就有一个被污鬼咐着的人,从坟茔里出来迎着他。 |
英文 | And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, |

中文 | 那人常住在坟茔里,没有人能捆住他,就是用铁链也不能。 |
英文 | Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: |

中文 | 因为人屡次用脚镣和铁链捆锁他,铁链竟被他挣断了,脚镣也被他弄碎了。总没有人能制伏他。 |
英文 | Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. |

英文 | And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. |

英文 | And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. |

英文 | And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. |

中文 | 就再三的求耶稣,不要叫他们离开那地方。 |
英文 | And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. |

中文 | 在那里山坡上,有一大群猪吃食。 |
英文 | Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. |

中文 | 鬼就央求耶稣说,求你打发我们往猪群里附着猪去。 |
英文 | And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. |

中文 | 耶稣准了他们。污鬼就出来,进入猪里去。于是那群猪闯下山崖,投在海里,淹死了。猪的数目,约有二千。 |
英文 | And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. |

英文 | And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. |

中文 | 他们来到耶稣那里,看见那被鬼附着的人,就是从前被群鬼所附的,坐着,穿上衣服,心里明白过来。他们就害怕。 |
英文 | And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. |

中文 | 看见这事的,便将鬼附之人所遇见的,和那群猪的事,都告诉了众人。 |
英文 | And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. |

英文 | And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts. |

中文 | 耶稣上船的时后,那从前被鬼附着的人,恳求和耶稣同在。 |
英文 | And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. |

中文 | 耶稣不许,却对他说,你回家去,到你的亲属那里,将主为你所作的,是何等大的事,是怎样怜悯你,都告诉他们。 |
英文 | Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. |

英文 | And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. |

英文 | And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. |

英文 | And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, |

中文 | 在好些医生手里,受了许多的苦。又花尽了他所有的,一点也不见好,病势反倒更重了。 |
英文 | And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, |

中文 | 他听见耶稣的事,就从后头来,杂在众人中间,摸耶稣的衣裳。 |
英文 | When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. |

英文 | For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. |

英文 | And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? |

英文 | But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. |

英文 | And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. |

中文 | 还说话的时候,有人从管会堂的家里来说,你的女儿死了,何必还劳动先生呢。 |
英文 | While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? |

中文 | 耶稣听见所说的话,就对管会堂的说,不要怕。只要信。 |
英文 | As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. |

英文 | And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. |

英文 | And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. |

英文 | And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. |
