中文 | 看哪,耶和华使地空虚,变为荒凉。又翻转大地,将居民分散。 |
英文 | Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. |

中文 | 那时百姓怎样,祭司也怎样。仆人怎样,主人也怎样。婢女怎样,主母也怎样。买物的怎样,卖物的也怎样。放债的怎样,借债的也怎样。取利的怎样,出利的也怎样。 |
英文 | And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. |

中文 | 地必全然空虚,尽都荒凉。因为这话是耶和华说的。 |
英文 | The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. |

英文 | The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. |

英文 | The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. |

英文 | Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. |

英文 | The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh. |

英文 | The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth. |

英文 | They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. |

中文 | 荒凉的城拆毁了。各家关门闭户,使人都不得进去。 |
英文 | The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in. |

英文 | When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. |

英文 | They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. |

中文 | 因此你们要在东方荣耀耶和华,在众海岛荣耀耶和华以色列神的名。 |
英文 | Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. |

中文 | 我们听见从地极有人歌唱,说,荣耀归于义人。我却说,我消灭了,我消灭了,我有祸了。诡诈的行诡诈,诡诈的大行诡诈。 |
英文 | From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. |

中文 | 地上的居民哪,恐惧,陷坑,网罗,都临近你。 |
英文 | Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. |

中文 | 躲避恐惧声音的必坠入陷坑。从陷坑上来的必被网罗缠住。因为天上的窗户都开了,地的根基也震动了。 |
英文 | And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. |

英文 | The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. |

中文 | 地要东倒西歪,好像醉酒的人。又摇来摇去,好像吊床。罪过在其上沉重,必然塌陷,不能复起。 |
英文 | The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. |

英文 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. |

中文 | 他们必被聚集,像囚犯被聚在牢狱中,并要囚在监牢里,多日之后便被讨罪。(或作眷顾) |
英文 | And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. |

中文 | 那时月亮要蒙羞,日头要惭愧。因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山,在耶路撒冷作王。在敬畏他的长老面前,必有荣耀。 |
英文 | Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. |
